DANVERS, MA — A Danvers man is officially the Topsfield Fair’s top dog after Pete Davekos won the fair’s third Topsfield Fair Hot Dog Eating Contest on Saturday.Davekos downed 9½ quarter=pound hot dogs — the equivalent of 19 standard hot dogs — along with the buns in seven minutes.
