B’nai B’rith UK Young Professionals (BBYP) held its second annual joint Friday night dinner with Ner Yisrael Synagogue, on Friday 2nd August for young professionals in their 30s and 40s. The Latvian Embassy held its annual Isaiah Berlin lecture on 4 July 2019. Tony Swabe attended. The speaker was the Australian High Commissioner who had found Isaiah Berlin’s ideas valuable as a guide to his career in politics.
