Purim ünnepe a zsidó naptár szerint ádár hónap 14. napján, az előző napnyugtától az aznapi első három csillag megjelenéséig ünneplik a purimot, a megmenekülés napját, az ószövetségi eredetű zsidó tavaszünnepet.
