Growing exhibition showcases Jewish artists
A record number of Jewish artists exhibited their work on May 28 at the launch of the Showcase of Jewish Artists exhibition at the B’nai B’rith NSW Centre. This year’s exhibition – held until June 4 – featured entries by 58 artists, not just from Sydney, but also for the first time from the Blue Mountains to Byron Bay, and even as far as Melbourne. Tribunal decision forces budge
After a lengthy legal battle, B’nai B’rith Retirement Villages has pledged to be more flexible when enforcing its house rules, in light of individual tenants’ needs. New president for JNF NSW
After a 10-year association with JNF NSW, Jason Eisner says, “The opportunity was right” to take on the organisation’s presidency at its AGM last month.
