BBLBIA attend Latvian Embassy annual lecture
The Latvian Embassy held its annual Isaiah Berlin lecture on 4 July 2019. Tony Swabe attended. The speaker was the Australian High Commissioner who had found Isaiah Berlin’s ideas valuable as a guide to his career in politics. B’nai B’rith along with the rest of the Community are saddened by the news of Rabbi Harry Jacobi’s death. He was active as President of the Leo Baeck Lodge until it closed in 2017.
