Male officer shot, hospitalized in Michigan; suspect shot, killed

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WWMT) – Local law enforcement officials confirmed that a male officer was shot with non-life threatening injuries Tuesday at a downtown Kalamazoo business, while the suspect was shot and killed by police. Numerous officers with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to the scene just before noon Tuesday.
