Police: Maryland State Trooper shoots and kills suspect who stabbed him

CARROLL COUNTY (WBFF) – Maryland State Police are investigating a trooper involved shooting in Westminster. About 8 am, State Police say the Trooper encountered a man in the intersection of Washington Rd & Stoner Ave. A struggle ensued. State Police say the trooper was stabbed by the suspect before shooting him.
