Mother of maggot-infested baby sentenced to life in prison

An Alta Vista woman convicted in the death of her son will spend the rest of her life in prison. 21-year-old Cheyanne Harris was sentenced to a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole Tuesday morning after being convicted of first-degree murder and child endangerment leading to death in the starvation death of her 4-month old son, Sterling Koehn.
