40 Years Ago Terrorists Took Over The D.C. Council And Shot Marion Barry

Thursday marks 40 years since a group of men stormed three landmark buildings in D.C., held nearly 150 people hostage, made a series of demands ranging from the mundane to lethal, and nearly killed Marion Barry. By the time the siege was over, a day and a half later, two people were dead.
