Montreal holds Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony inside city hall for first time

Mayor Denis Coderre said the idea to officially host the event inside city hall came from city councillor Lionel Perez. The hour-long ceremony was a mix of speeches, prayers and songs sung by the Bialik High School Yiddish Choir.
