Residents attend Shalom New York event in Savannah

Millions around the world are celebrating Hanukkah, including many in Southeast Georgia and the Lowcountry. In Savannah, the annual Shalom New York event was held Sunday night. Dozens of people went to the Bnai Brith Jacob Synagogue for the fun. Congressman Buddy Carter attended, as well.
