Diversity training program planned for Wilkes-Barre Police Department

WILKES-BARRE – The city is planning to provide diversity training for its police officers. The pilot program is tentatively scheduled to take place within the next year and is the result of a meeting last month between city police Chief Robert Hughes, city Administrator Greg Barrouk and several community leaders and activists.
