Opening of Poland Jewish Museum
Deborah Abisror, Director of B’nai B’rith Europe, attended the opening ceremony of the Museum of the history of Polish jews in Warsaw, on October 28th. It was a well organized and grand ceremony on a beautiful autumn’s day. Many high ranking Polish officials participated, which included strong speeches from the Polish and Israeli Presidents. Polin, the yiddish word for Poland, means ‘here we need to be’, referencing to the rich 1000 years history of the Jews in Poland. The museum of the living Jewish history was opened including the entrance of a holocaust survivor and a young boy from the Jewish primary school.

Chair of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with Israel’s first visit in Israel 
Member of the European Parliament and newly appointed Chair of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with Israel Fulvio Martusciello, a Christian Democrat from Italy, visited Israel this week for the first time at the invitation of B’nai B’rith International. Joining Martusciello on the trip was MEP and previous delegation chair Bas Belder, a European Conservative from the Netherlands.

Kesher Day in Geneva
The 2d Kesher Day Geneva  was held  on the 2d of November 2014.
Erika Van Gelder, President of B’nai B’rith Europe was one of the participants at the invitation of Raoul Beck, the President of the Henri Dunant Lodge, Geneva.
